December 2022 - Cosmo JNE Futsal Club is gearing up to compete in the Indonesian Professional Futsal League for the 2022-2023 season. This effort was marked by a collaboration extension ceremony conducted on Thursday (15/12/2021) at CGV Sports Hall FX Sudirman Jakarta, as well as a momentum for presenting players that will improve the squad, inaugurating a new uniform, and introducing the Cosmo JNE FC mascot dubbed MARS.
The inauguration event was held between JNE and COSMO management, and it was attended by JNE VP of Marketing, Eri Palgunadi, and Cosmo JNE FC Team Manager, Hansen Tjubianto, as well as all officials and players. JNE's sponsorship stems from concern for the development and advancement of futsal in Indonesia, as well as JNE's dedication to providing the most benefit to the community at 32 years of serving.
JNE's VP of Marketing, Eri Palgunadi, stated that the company intends to continue to support the nation's children. Futsal, a popular sport in Indonesia, is one of them. JNE, as an original Indonesian enterprise, will, of course, continue to assist the advancement of SMEs, education, the economy, and sports in accordance with the motto "Connecting Happiness."
Hansen Tjubianto, Cosmo JNE FC Management, stated that JNE is the primary sponsor for Cosmo JNE FC, which will fight against 12 of Indonesia's greatest futsal teams. "With full support from JNE as Indonesia's largest logistics firm, the hope is to offer the greatest results in every match and become the Professional Futsal League winner in the 2022-2023 season," he stated.
The Yellow Sub team is dominated by players from the Indonesian Futsal National Team, who won silver medals at the AFF Futsal Cup and the 2021 Sea Games. The Indonesian Futsal Federation has established that the 2022-2023 season will take place in 5 cities (Jakarta, Surabaya, Pontianak, Lampung, and Malang) and will be attended by the 12 top teams in Indonesia. It will begin on 7 January and end on 27 August 2023.
In this event, the Cosmo JNE FC squad, along with Ivan Gunawan, will play a futsal funmatch against the JNE staff futsal team, as well as offer compensation for orphans out of care for others and in accordance with JNE's concept of Sharing, Giving, and Helping. "The teamwork and hard work, in the previous season we were able to rank third thanks to the support of prayers and hopes from all JNE Knights and Heroines and the community so that we will continue to give our best and be able to become champions in the 2022 season," said Fachri Reza, Captain of the Cosmo JNE FC Team.
