JNE Tasikmalaya & ACT Deliver Food Aid in Pangandaran

Pangandaran – October 2021, the positive trend and mortality of COVID-19 in Indonesia continues to decline. The government lowered the level of PPKM in various regions and community activities revived. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is still felt, especially in several sectors, one of which is people who are in tourist areas.

JNE is a company that cares about providing the widest potential benefits to the community, together with Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) presents a food aid program through ACT’s humanitarian fleet for the people in Pangandaran.

At the Pangandaran Regent’s Office, Parigi Village, West Java, Eri Palgunadi as JNE’s VP of Marketing together with Taufik Perdana, as the Regional Head of ACT Priangan Timur, symbolically handed over the donation of “Food Aid, Masks and Handsinitizer” to H. Jeje Wiradinata as Pangandaran Regent who accompanied by H. Ujang Ending Irawan as Deputy Regent of Pangandaran, which will later be given to the people of Pangandaran Regency (29/10/21).

Food helps program donations worth Rp. 50,000,000,- this is concrete evidence of JNE and ACT to our brothers and sisters who are still struggling to meet their food needs, especially since the pandemic. 1000 portions of ready-to-eat food of the highest quality cooked in the Humanity Food Truck and 500 packages of free rice will be distributed to the community in Pangandaran. Not only that, in this activity, JNE and ACT continue to socialize the awareness to continue to apply 5M to the community by distributing 1,000 masks and 1,000 hand sanitizers.

Humanity Food Truck from ACT is a free meal service fleet. One unit of this truck in one cooking can serve up to thousands of ready-to-eat food portions. Supported by modern equipment, it is also possible for this truck to easily mobile from one place to another.

Likewise, with the Humanity Rice Truck, the ACT fleet is here as an effort to provide services as free rice in a more innovative way to the community. Where in this truck 8 rice ATMs can be accessed by the beneficiaries by scanning the card and the rice will automatically come out.
