In October 2015, JNE Branch Office Yogyakarta contributed a social program by supplying 112 tanks (5,000 liter each) of free clean water to help two hamlets, Gatak I, Ngestirejo, Tanjungsari, and Pejaten, Giriwungu, Panggang, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta, which are suffering drought period during long dry season.
The social program split into two period. On the first period, 62 tanks of free clean water supplied to Gatak I hamlet started at October 17, 2015. On the second period, the next 62 tanks of free clean water supplied to Pejaten hamlet. Adi Subagyo, Branch Manager of JNE Yogyakarta, promised the water division program will be held annually when the drought period comes.
