Good news comes from JNE Cilacap Main Branch. After experiencing several delays due to the implementation of the PSBB policy or the Java-Bali Community Activity Restriction (PKM) by the government, finally the new JNE building in Cilacap was inaugurated last Wednesday (17/2/2021).
By implementing the health protocol, the inauguration of the new JNE Cilacap building was marked by the cutting of the ribbon and the signing of the inscription by the President Director of JNE, Mohamad Feriadi Soeprapto. Apart from Central JNE officials, the inauguration was also attended by local regional officials, including the Regent of Cilacap H. Tatto Suwarto Pamuji, the Head of the Cilacap Police and the Dandim.
New building on Jl. Kalimantan No.11, Gunung Simping Village, Central Cilacap District, Cilacap with an area of 850 m2 standing on a land area of about 2,000 m2. The design of the JNE building in a city directly adjacent to the province of West Java has an industrial minimalist concept with the characteristics of a JNE building or office.
The inauguration of this new building indicates that JNE will continue to increase its capacity and capability in order to provide the best service and experience for JNE customers," said Feriadi in his speech.
Feriadi also added that while the world is still experiencing a pandemic that does not know when it will end, JNE is grateful that it can still provide work to tens of thousands of employees without laying off employees.
"There was even a blessing that JNE got where the volume of shipments during the pandemic experienced quite good growth, and God willing, in 2021 JNE could again record growth according to the predetermined target," he said Not to forget, M. Feriadi advised that JNE Cilacap always sow kindness to those in need, especially during the pandemic where many people are in trouble.
Meanwhile, JNE Cilacap Branch Manager Bagus Indra Zulfikar said that the inauguration of the new building will increase the enthusiasm of JNE Cilacap employees at work.
“Currently, the old building is considered inadequate and needs to be added to the capacity of the work area as well as to improve the quality of infrastructure. This new building can accommodate approximately 150 employees and is also equipped with other facilities such as a wider employee and customer parking area, then there is a mosque, a rest room for out-of-town drivers, a comfortable waiting room for customers and other facilities including security where the entire area is monitored by CCTV," he explained.
Bagus added, JNE Cilacap will be more optimistic and committed to improving the quality of service and sales in 2021. Especially with the support of infrastructure that is currently better and optimal.
In addition, in terms of economy, according to BPS data, Cilacap Regency is one of the three main industrial areas in Central Java besides Semarang and Solo. There is a lot of potential that can be explored in this regency which is located on the southern coast of Java Island.
The fields of fisheries, agriculture, MSMEs as well as trade and manufacturing industries have great potential. This makes JNE Cilacap which since 2017 has been the Main Branch Office has a great opportunity to continue to grow. *
