The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) is one of the front lines in overcoming and breaking the chain of transmission of Covid-19. To support their performance in the field that is prone to contracting Covid-19, JNE donated 20 thousand bottles of hand sanitizer to the DKI Jakarta Satpol PP.
The ceremonial handing over of hand sanitizers to the DKI Jakarta Satpol PP took place on Thursday (6/5/2021) at the DKI Satpol PP Headquarters, Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta. The handover was carried out by the Head of Promotion & Activation Department of JNE Kurnia Nugraha to the Deputy Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta Satpol PP, Sahat Parulian.
In the event, which was attended by leaders and officials within the DKI Jakarta Satpol PP, Sahat Parulian revealed that there were around 5,300 members of the DKI Jakarta Satpol PP on duty in the field. All of them join hands with the Police and TNI in breaking the chain of transmission of Covid-19.
"PPE assistance in the form of hand sanitizers from JNE is very helpful for our members who are on duty in the field in fighting Covid-19. This hand sanitizer will be distributed to members throughout DKI Jakarta," said Sahat, when met by JNEWS on the sidelines of the event.
On behalf of all members of the DKI Jakarta Satpol PP, he thanked JNE for caring and realizing this concern by collaborating with the DKI Jakarta Satpol PP in an effort to prevent the transmission of Covid-19, especially in DKI Jakarta.
“This is a very good collaboration, it's like we get a new spirit, especially before Lebaran because crowds are prone to happen everywhere. Thank you JNE, hopefully this collaboration will continue so that Covid-19 will end quickly," concluded Sahat while urging the public to be orderly so as not to cause crowds.
JNE continues to participate in efforts to combat Covid-19 in various regions. Last month, JNE donated tens of thousands of masks and hand sanitizers for police officers and market traders. Then on Monday (3/5/2021), JNE handed over 20 thousand bottles of hand sanitizer to the Transportation Service, Bekasi City.
Located at Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi City, JNE handed over the donation to the Mayor of Bekasi, Rahmat Effendi. The hand sanitizer provided by JNE to the Bekasi City Transportation Agency will later be used in carrying out the duties of the apparatus at the Bekasi City Transportation Service in an effort to break the chain of Covid-19 transmission. *
