October 2019 - Jabar Regional Cup competition for 2019 will be held on October 5-6, 2019 to increase employee cohesiveness between JNE branches throughout West Java. The tournament, which was held for the second time, involved JNE employees in the West Java Region including Bandung, Tasikmalaya, Karawang, Sukabumi, Cirebon and Purwakarta.
The total number of tournament participants was 164 who competed in three sports, namely badminton, table tennis and futsal. A total of 24 participants were divided into 8 table tennis teams, and 32 participants were divided into 8 badminton teams while 108 participants were divided into 9 futsal teams.
Located at Pemuda sport center Jl. Pemuda Raya No 42, Cirebon, the ceremonial opening of the 2019 Regional Cup Jabar event was opened by Murah Lestari, Head of regional West Java 5th October 2019. Syarilrrudin, head of the Cirebon JNE branch also welcomed the participants who came from all branches in the West Java region.
After 2 days of the tournament, the champions were crowned. In table tennis, JNE Sukabumi A won 1st place, followed by JNE Bandung as 2nd place, and 3rd place won by JNE Cirebon team. While in tbadminton, JNE Cirebon A host team was the winner, JNE Jabar Legend team was the first runner-up, and JNE Cirebon B was the second runner-up.
In futsal, JNE Bandung won the first place and managed to bring back the rotating trophies that were crowned last year. Then the first runner-up won by JNE Jabar Legend and JNE Cirebon B went for the second runner-up. In addition, JNE Bandung's knight Indra Cipta from the outbound operational department also managed to get a prize as a futsal top scorer this time.
Murah Lestari, West Java Regional Head was present to give encouragement as well as hand over prizes to the winners. In remarks, Tari said that she hoped that the Regional Cup could be held continuously with the aim of establishing friendship among JNE employees and improving the work ethic of the JNE Knights in her area.
"I hope that by doing this activity the JNE knights will be unified, so that a good working relationship will be established between branches in West Java. This event is also a trigger for the JNE knights to have a healthy fitness, so that productivity and performance also increases, said Tari.
